How can I display the contents of the music file loaded using LoadSound?
Say I have a .mod file loaded and I want to see all the data contained within the loaded file, how would I do that. I have searched the help and the forum for inspiration, but either cant find it or it does not exist. Any help is appreciated! ![]() Cheers Mike |

As far as I know PPL uses the Hekkus Sound System. You will have to use it's own functions to retrieve the data in question.

Argh, thats not the answer I was looking for!!!!
![]() I have looked at the Hekkus site and it does not facilitate what I want to do! ![]() Trawling the net also reveals nothing! I might have to give up on this then? Thanks Zehlein for the reply Mike. |

what data are you looking for exactly?
those raw input values for the speaker, data included from the author in instrument section or the actual data you'll see also if you open a file with a text editor? |

I have loaded the .MOD file and have the file format in .TXT format so I know what to grab, I just wondered if there was a way of looking at the memory where the file was loaded so I can get note information and beat info.
I'm sure that FMOD and BASS can do the same sort of thing with sample data (For beat detection etc) M. |

I had a quick look at the Hekkus documentation and I'm convinced that there is no way to retrieve this kind of data using the hekkus dll.
